Actually, thinking back, I think it was that someone accidentally set off one of the active shooter alarm buttons (yes, we had those around the school like fire alarms).

Normally the shooter drills were announced over the intercom so they were distinct from the "you're going to die, nigga" alarm

We even had a password for when they called off the drill.
Also, all new schools/renovations are done with shootings in mind. Things like hard-corners, mesh windows, how the locks work, and how much resistance the doors give when being opened. All Lanza's fault btw

I remember being on a call with some friends when i was younger and they added some random i didn't know and atter some time i left the call and i heard the next day at school that once i left he showed my friends 'p. And they didn't seem to be all that bothered by it either it was really weird and gross.
