i grew up thinking that my parents would be the people who would understand me the most, turns out they struggle to even understand themselves. as my mother is conflicted about having new relationships and her sexuality and my father is conflicted about still helping her economically knowing damn well she treats him like shit and cant even handle her own money correctly.
