Same here. The actual "gum wrapped like a cig that you can blow a puff of powder out of in a box based on a real brand" ones got replaced by the "chalk stick" kind for a few years.

I really like those sorts of candies. I'm not a sweet connoisseur, but when I do have candy, I usually prefer those chalky, minty hard candies and or gelatine.
