A tree cannot be innocent as innocence implies a lack of the knowledge of evil. A tree does not posess morals as morality pertains to actions made of the will (a tree has no intellect, therefore no will) and so cannot be, by your definition, pure. The state of being wholly innocent or righteous.
A baby would more closely fit that definition, I would say.
