I used to play lullaby versions of Nirvana and Pink Floyd when I babysat my nephews and now they're older and love the original songs. I doomed them to be hipsters. Fuck.

ive never gotten the hype around pink floyd. it just sounds like generic rock music. i was told it was great high and hey there's like 10 different genres that do that better. what's the deal?!

I genuinely didn't listen to a lot of "real music" before I found pink floyd, and I found them when I was a stoner loser, so The Wall resonated with me (and still does).
