you know, the "shipyard guarantee" depth rating applied to u-boats in peacetime is comparable to the "maximum daily dosage" provided for stimulant medications, in the eyes of someone abusing it. that is, it's merely a liability thing in their eyes, and going past it is possible, but severe consequences are likely.
