The way the internet has forced normals into concentrated, filtered communities and labels has had an incredibly strong rattle on experimental media, which has forever secluded most if not all of it into the mid-to-late 60s/70s. By forcing people into these pigeon-holes early on in the modern age, true thinkers and the crooked alike will never be capable of flourishing due to being exposed and beaten into place by herd-mentality, thus leading to where we are now. Currently, true experimental media only exists and is created amongst socially-inept autistics with no care for public-perception or norm, and or third-worlders with no internet access. Due to the very nature of these groups however, these works will never leave their respective communities, thus making them forever stuck in obscurity hell or niche algorithms on the likes of YouTube. Next time you get an abnormal low-view niche who-knows-what on your social media feed, LIKE IT and let the algorithm know you want more.
