When it first hit the news, their only source was a single forum post, and the OP eventually admitted he made it up.

I had a look at the source AGES ago while going down a similar rabbit-hole, and the 'mutt teenager behind it showed some pretty damning photos and realistic looking evidence. It was only once he began being mocked, did he start frantically arguing that it was all a ruse. So you could argue he was just trying to save face for actually trying jenkem.
