Gore used to be really widespread and then it died out, at least for those who weren't on snca imageboards like me and I'd assume a large portion of the people here. I think that if somebody is crying about shock sites, they probably interacted with gore during the time period when gore was not widespread to the general public, and thus think they were the only one to see such horrifying stuff growing up.
