I was really hyped way back when I first bought the "rising storm" or whatever DLC for civ 6, but I never use it because I like raping the planet with my China-tier industry and it fills me with dread to worry about the consequences affecting me.
I do remember trying to speed it up though when I noticed that the rising sea levels would give me a new port city or fuck over another civ
