Well, since this is Rebirth, finding something like that shouldn't be that hard. Just restart a couple of times and you'll find Cricket's Head on the first floor like it's nothing.

Item unlocks, but other than that, there isn't, really. Azazel is the strongest character in the game with practically no downsides. At least with characters like Greed and his tainted version, you die in like 2-3 hits.
