I had a dream about a movie in which Matthew Gray Gubler from Criminal Minds plays a struggling musician trying to make it in America as a Brit, and his acting was horrendous. Jason Alexander was also in it for some reason. The thing that I remember the most was that one of the songs sounded like Super Furry Animals, but it sounds nothing like any of their actual tunes; it sounded like an amalgamation of their previous stuff. It wasn't as fast-paced as their earlier work from the '90s; it was a bit slower with a fuzz guitar (with a riff I know I've heard in one of their songs before). Gruff Rhys was singing lead on it, but he was singing in Welsh, I believe, because it definitely wasn't English. I also think the film had something to do with Phantom of the Opera.
