I’m going to a tea party today, so I’ve put together an extra special outfit for the day. I’m very excited, mostly for the desserts and not so much the people attending. I’m wearing the other new pair of tights and very I’m glad I bought them. I haven’t worn this dress in a long time because it’s one I’ve decided is an “event” dress as opposed to the dresses I normally wear.

I went to a Halloween event with my family today. The scare actors kept saying “I love your dress!” or “lovely dress!” instead of jumping out at me. A few even approached me and started a conversation with me. I received many compliments on my outfit from other attendees as well. I also won a penguin hello kitty stuffed animal as a prize from a game. My new duvet set and curtains arrived 2 days ago and they’re very good quality. The velvet is very soft and comfortable. The dress I’m wearing is new as well, although it’s partially hidden under the bolero I was wearing.
