it can be pretty annoying, but I assume it's like that because standards change over time and what might be acceptable in 2025 could be outrageous next year or two and it wouldn't be a proper archive if old posts were constantly deleted
I wouldn't be surprised if people in the future would want the original jartycuck censored or deleted because it has a dnb, the former already happened but was reverted
