Slenderman is the only good creepypasta because it's kept shrouded in mystery as to what he actually is.

When the backrooms initially came out they had the same aura of mystery, every creepypasta had that aura before they became popular, I remember being very fixated on the Mario 64 personalization thing (I'm so glad that one died out and became forgotten instead of getting redditified)

Speaking of Creepypastas shrouded in mystery, I'll recommend you guys to check out Samosbor, it's like Metro 2033 and old SCP thingy shrouded in mystery, luckily westerners haven't discovered it and it hasn't become mainstream so it's worth to check it out.
