it is crashing because it fails to go back to faster cpu states

to preserve power it switches its C-states but a bug in the lincucks kernel makes it so going back to the higher ones freezes the whole computer

so the solution is telling the cpu to never use the lower c-states but it's not a viable solution for a laptop
