Greetings. As the title suggests I believe that creating such a section which would foster more unity and a way for new users to become acclimated to the soysphere if unaware or perhaps a way to give a little introductory speech, you could also force them to post in the introduction section before they are allowed to do so anywhere else or you may think that the entire feature in itself is redundant and useless which is also a fair opinion but I think it makes it more convenient and gives a way to easily make some friends and discuss about your interests and whatever have you.

I was procuring this forum some days ago and liked it so I decided to join, I have already used many forums in the past and am familiar on a sidenote I was banned on the sharty for my first ever post which apparently is a common thing? same thing used to happen to me on 4chan, I believe I may be cursed or it's the IP or whatever but falsebans are such that I am no stranger to, thoughts?

I meant more the uncivilized ones, but the Aztecs rotted and died not long after the Spaniards arrived anyways. Browns can't defend their societies, this can be observed by the Aryan invasion of the Indus Valley
iirc they could protect themselves pretty good before they all died from disease

I thought I typed a draft and lost it. Excuse me for the mishap

Other way around, the Aryans originated in the Indus valley

even then, the spanish described their physical appearances as being described as "bold," "fierce," and possessing "great determination", as with the yaqui as described by diego de guzmán’s personal account in 1533.

the later 1564-1565 expeditions of francisco de ibarra describes a more peaceful reception by 500 "handsome and brilliantly-dressed" yaquis.

the empire was seceded by the viceroyalty of new spain, but the people did not outright rot and die.

triumphs by the europeans (at least in the americas) were mostly achieved in part to diseases, betrayal, and with indigenous auxiliaries.

but if you state that dirty tactics (aside from auxiliaries) are ought to be praised, you are entitled to think so.

just rape both spainiards and aztecs

Maybe it's me not distinguishing between Aryans and Ancient Aryans but weren't they from Central Asia/the steppe?

They were well-nourished I guess, but it does not give an answer to my objection about their civilization. Were the peoples far from the main indigenous civilizations any different?

How do you think epidemics were supposed to be handled? Blaming the inevitable spread of foreign illnesses from the people they had constant contact with on them is kind of nonsensical
What betrayals are you talking about? Would the Aztec have acted any different?

Marge didn't you say the browns were at fault for failing to fight the Europeans? Doesn't this go against that?

i find it funny that any indigenous people ever allied with spain just to probably get integrated into new spain anyways

Carrying illnesses wasn't a deliberate act of war, and it really puts in doubt the fierceness of the indigenous if their inmune system crumbled so hard when facing them, spaniards had the lowest death tolls in front of these despite the epidemics targeting the populations of spaniard colonies indistinctly, negroes also had a high death toll just behind that of the indians

europeans were aware of diseases back then and knew they were contagious, it wasn't intended, but it was known.

i am referring to the betrayal of the many indigenous city states and tribes by the hands of the spanish, most notably the tlaxcalans being betrayed and stripped of their privileges, albeit this happened near the end of spanish rule in colonial mexico.

a more recent betrayal (around the end of the aztec empire) were the totonacs being betrayed by the spanish after allying with them against the aztecs and being forced to work as indentured servants under the encomienda system. the tetzcocans were stripped of their autonomy under the spanish after also allying with them against the aztecs. the purépechan leader tangáxuan II was also betrayed by nuno de guzman in 1530 after providing thousands of soldiers to help the spanish expand. the cholula, another ally of the spanish, suffered a massacre at the hands of the spanish. francisco pizarro betrayed the emperor atahualpa by inviting him to a peaceful meeting at cajamarca, only to ambush his retinue and hold him for a massive gold ransom before executing him. the taino welcomed the spanish, only for columbus to betray them by massacring and enslaving them. even the aztecs (albeit not the traditional sense of betrayal) was deceived when alvarado massacred the aztec elites when moctezuma II was granted permission to celebrate a festival by cortes. the yaqui were betrayed with broken treaties, land dispossession, and violent attacks from the spanish, despite the yaqui being autonomous and having signed peace treaties with the spanish. betrayals from broken treates extended to the comanche, apache, various pueblos, various texan tribes such as the karankawa, who the spanish used deceptive tactics such as offering fake peace talks, holding leaders hostage, and planning to lure them into traps under the guise of trade to exterminate them in order to force the karankawa into missions.

and no, the aztecs weren't known to betray others.
