I used to "Galacticraft" for Minecraft. Basically it adds space travel, and it's incredibly grindey to set up. I used to just use my little brother as child labor to get all of the shit we needed.

Tale of Two Wastelands. It's just a mod that lets you travel between the Capitol Wasteland and the Mojave, and it also lets you play Fallout 3 with all of the changes that came with new vegas.
Fallout: Nevada is good too, it's just a conversion mod for Fallout 2 with a lot of added features.

Darth Mod for Total War: Shogun 2. The base game is fine but there's a heavy Yari Ashigaru meta since they're so cheap and can hold lines well. The mod basically makes other units more useful and makes them large so you actually feel like a warlord fighting against the Shogun in 16th century Japan

It was fun seeing the complete and utter carnage after melee combat, seeing all the blood completely coloring the grass and dead troops on the ground. You didn't just win, you destroyed
