The anarchists were mainly a peasant movement who wanted self-determination for the peasantry and were opposed to the requisition of grain for the purpose of war communism. They were both commies didn't they?
Frankly Idk man I'm not a very educated individual on the topic they're all liars to me
To call them communists is a misnomer, they agreed with the Bolsheviks pretty much on only being opposed to the Tsarists.
They regularly withheld grain from the population, leading to famines and were more interested in keeping their land than anything else leading them to them switching from being cordial to the Whites or Reds whenever it was convenient to them. They were massacred by Tukhachevsky and the Cheka and later reduced into nothing by Stalin.
Their only lasting legacy is being idolized by real women online who see them as wholesome anti-authoritarian revolutionaries when they were rapist bandit armies who would've had them killed.
