Mickey 17 fucking sucks

I watched this on a long plane ride along w/ a bunch of other movies, I remember hearing not so great things about it but the premise mildly interested me so I watched it.
Turns out to be a big mistake, outside of one anecdote about a guy using his clones to kill people and get away with it the movie has nothing interesting to say about anything at all. The only things I got out of this film is "DOOOOOD... TRUMP STAND IN LE BADDD AND ChristIANITY IS LE CULTERINOOO" and "STOOPID HOOMAN INVADERS LE BADDDD NATIVE ALIEN THINGS LE GOOOOD", and if I wanted to see the latter I'd rather watch Avatar because at least that movie has pretty CGI. This movie supposedly cost 100 million to make but I don't believe that for a second, this has to be some sort of money laundering scheme, nothing about this movie feels like it's worth 100 million. The dialogue sucks as well, it's full of dated MCU-tier humor where the majority of the jokes are saying "fuck" in some form. Also Mark Ruffalo should do us all a favor and off himself, he was horrible in this film much like how he's horrible in every other film he's in.

Overall 3/10, would not watch any movie directed by this guy again

It's another "le capitalism bad" and "rich people bad" movie, not surprising considering it's directed by the same guy who made Parasite. The movie ends with the main character's black girlfriend becoming the new leader GEG

Pretty low budget for a movie that’s being shown in planes.
