That's what Costner's show is about, he had a falling out with the showrunner and started his own series (totally unrelated) with a similar name to try and capitalize off the Yellowstone hype train.
The original Yellowstone has nothing to do with the park and sucks ass, I've never watched but I can tell.

i saw one clip of it where costner was holding a shotgun, and a bus full of chinese tourists tried to get near a bear, but he scared the bear and the tourists by firing a shot in the air. the bear ran off and the travel guides said something along the lines of "you can't own land because it's not moral" or something and costner said something like 'this is america, we don't share land."

Most ranchers I've met are good people, and what Sheridan did is remake the sopranos as a western. It just doesn't fit, ranchers aren't obese, stupid or violent like mafiosos are.
