Cobson had an extremely negative reception when he was first posted, zellig however was just seen as more real womenme bullshit so no one really cared that much. After /qa/ was locked zellig was widely disliked on the sharty while cobson had become accepted (I think. He might have become accepted a bit later, I don't quite remember).

People definitely tried to force shit all the time on /qa/. The constant attempt to force random shit is probably the biggest similarity between the sharty and /qa/ nowadays. I think the biggest difference really is probably that /qa/nons would force things that were popular among 4channers like zellig and real womenme while nusois force flavour of the month coal from tiktok, which is probably why it feels soulless.
