As you can see from your link that contains the list, Africa has nearly as many muslims as Christians, this is because it has more people than Europe, by a really large margin.
20% of Subsaharan Africa is Christian, if we round up the numbers.
If we calculate the same percentage for europe, oh would you look at that...
37% percentage.

Comparing them by mainly just how many Christians isn't fair as obviously a place with more people will have more Christians.

Europe's numbers are just nominal, meaning just because they identify as Christian doesn't actually mean they are because most aren't very devout or attend church and are mostly cultural Christians. Compared to Africa where more are Christian and the faith is actually lived (church attendance, bible reading, personal devotion, etc.) and is growing in numbers.
