i asked one of mi favorite xitter artists what mi can do to get better at art
this is what xe said
>Thank you for liking my artwork.1: Round pen, sign pen, G pen, around that area.2: Just draw, no matter what. That's it, nothing else.3: If you're drawing as secondary creation, I think it's fine to imagine and draw the birds that you think are cute. Use references only when necessary. (To be continued
<
>4: I haven't studied art academically, so this is my own interpretation, but I recommend looking at as many pictures with fewer lines as possible, such as "cute pictures" and "cool pictures."Since there are fewer lines, I also recommend challenging yourself to copy them. By doing so, you can experience the difficulty of drawing lines, and it will serve as motivation for practice.

asked xim again and xe said
>1: If the surface of a tablet or similar device is too slippery, it can be hard to draw the lines as you imagine, so I think it's a good idea to first find the level of slipperiness that suits your hand. It might involve balancing with the wear and tear of the pen tip.2: There are plenty of sample drawings written from all sorts of angles, so I recommend doing it while looking at those. The site Pinterest is recommended.
<
>+2: It seems that making the neck thinner looks better if it's in an anime/manga style. The line from the jaw to the ear is very difficult, so at first, it's a good idea to hide it with hair and omit it. In the end, I think it all comes down to looking at skilled people's drawings a lot.
<
(when i asked if mi could trace some of xis artworks to learn how to draw hands and bodies n shiet I FORGOT TO SPECIFY THAT I WOULDN'T POST THE TRACED ARTWORKS)
>3: I recommend the aforementioned Pinterest over my drawings. Of course, this is limited to practice within the scope that does not infringe on copyright.4: I assume you're aiming for a manga-style or anime-style illustration. With that in mind, there are plenty of references for the appropriate sizes and balances of eyes, nose, and mouth corresponding to the age of the character you want to draw, so please take a look at them.
<
(when i asked xim about which drawing tablet xe uses and how to draw hair)
>5: It's a drawing tablet. A liquid crystal tablet seems good too, but my neck might get tired, so. +1: I'm struggling with how to draw hair too. I just have to keep drawing. It seems good to draw it by dividing into parts.

I wrote this mainly because I realized that I used to be terrible at making Baldi mods in Unity, surviving in Minecraft, and playing Fortnite, but now those things are easy as hell because I actually dedicated my time toward improving at those things instead of quitting. This made me realize that I can improve my HORRID art style and lineart and become good at art if I try hard enough.
