I explained to a mossad agent on /pol/ the dynamics of marriage in the jafari law of jurisprudence and Shi'a Islamic law (which I don't necessarily support, but have experience and knowledge in)

Simply put, the mossad agent was posting propaganda on how "there are many child marriages in Iran", I responded with a rational explanation.

Dating is forbidden in Iran under the jafari law of jurisprudence, as an alternative, the couple must get an official temporary marriage of sorts in order to be seen with each other in a romantic context. This perfectly explains why there are "child marriages". It's not Muhammad raping a 9 year old, it's so that teenagers can legally date one another. There is still an age of consent which prevents children from being exploited.

Therefore such "child marriages" are actually facilitating something which would be considered normal in the west. I don't support the idea of dating being illegal or any of these laws, but the only person who is suggesting child rape is legal in Islamic countries is in an HQ in Tel Aviv
