In the thread title you said "I'm getting", so I'm going to assume someone else is buying it for you, presumably one of your family members. Happy birthday, by the way. Tell them to purchase another used laptop instead, maybe a business-class one like a Latitude, unless you're already embedded into Apple's ecosystem, there's no point in wasting a gargantuan amount of money on a machine that could possibly break within the next year or so, with NO chance of self-repair (everything is soldered down. Storage, RAM, etc. etc., literally EVERYTHING). Whatever you do (or don't), be sure you know what you're getting into. I personally think MacOS is garbage and Apple's products are subpar at best and dysfunctional from the factory at worst.

the original seller said that he sold the mac i was looking for but he had similaer alternatives
i managed to find the exact same one i was looking for except smaller storage (512 gigs instead of a terrabyte, and also 100 bucks cheaper)
other than that, it is the same
