I had a friend/mentor (he was was pretty old) who was an English teacher in Japan and he essentially said no matter what cucks told you; you really don’t need to know Japanese when visiting the country, Japan is incredibly tourist-oriented for many different reasons. In most areas there are 100% translation services.

He contracted radiation poisoning during the 2011 earthquake/tsunami and had to evacuate the country. He never went back, I honestly think he hated Japanese people.
