I think chapter 1's writing was ass The game had one section of Susie and lancer were just basically picking their noses if the nothing burger section was removed not much would be lost

just to clarify. Deltarune is real womanslop, but if it was up to me it should have ended in the first chapter before it ramped up the gay shit by 1488 % and when it was just a simple story about some kids using their imagination. The game was a bit more obscure back then too.

i really hated how they had to make noelle one of the actual relevant and main characters in chapter 2, i find every aspect of noelle to be distasteful especially considering how she was basically nonexistent in the first chapter (her character design sucks too)
theres a theory going around that the prophecy in chapter 4 refers to NOELLE who was supposed to be the monster that seals the fountain instead of susie, given how noelle can equip swords and the sprite for the prophecy was a girl holding a sword. i get that noelle is specified as a monster but susie looks much closer to what an actual monster would look like
and dear God i hate everything about the roaring knight and the entire "dess is missing" subplot its all shit yet the fandom licks all over it

played the first chapter when the chapter 2 craze was happening and liked it but Tobert Foxworth decided to hire real women to help the game. each chapter since has been lowering in quality before turning into literal real womanslop. inb4 toby gets overthrown by the real womans he hired and has his dream game ruined before his eyes.

It really sucks that in part 67 they added that rape scene of Clark noob to the game. Jamal Bin Jardhikokh is influencing Deltarune so badly and it's going downhill.
I especially didn't like when they hired Mr. Fuck to the scripting team because he added so many SNCA characters like Joe and Gland and it just made it so convoluted and boring.

If it were me the game would've been just been about the shit squad trying to stop King from taking over the light world and finding out a wicked Knight known as Gaster is using him as a tool to cause the apocalypse. There would be no gay shit or le spine-tingling emotional drama shit (real women love putting that stuff into their games), it would be tonally similar to the first Mario RPG where its mostly bing wahoo fun time and then there's some darker, more badass stuff at the end. Also Ralsei wouldn't be there at all and be replaced by Lancer or Berdly or Noelle or anyone but a stupid cacaot femboy. Also everyone would be straight and cis including Kris.

Deltareal woman and stupid fucking animatter Omori were especially cringe with it because they were ripping off the deaths from Mother 3 and that game is so fucking cringe about it and it has the most unsatisfying ending of all time
