I’m not sure if you still do skeletal animation but pirate CSP or something and start doing frame by frame animation this shit is actually so easy if you just spam smear frames

The second one isn’t my proudest work but I did all of these practically from imagination and If a dummy like me can do it you can 100% you’re very good at drawing

I used to do a lot of frame-by-frame animations when I was a kid and I hated it then and I still hate it now. I might do some random one-off frame by frame shorts here and there but don't expect me to switch to it full time. It's tedious and boring for me.

Actually you’re right this shit took me like an hour to make and it would probably take 20 minutes making an infinitely better version with tweening tools, it would also probably be fully colored and shaded too.

Why is there so many variations of the same face if there's little expression change? Just copy and paste the same one and modify the 3D perspective with each frame, if of course your program of choice allows you to do so.

I was trying to make it do a little tilt and give it a “””3D””” feel before the sad attempt of doing some smear frames when it goes for the punch. I’m still learning timing so it comes off as incredibly fast.

This by the way is only really the sketch layer, I might make it look more refined, but that’ll take another hour or 2 probably.
