In Chicago once, I saw a homeless guy with a sign that said something like "please spare change, I'm saving up to buy a gun"
And then he had a stick figure drawing of him robbing someone.
I tried to take a picture, but my mother told me it was rude to take pictures of homeless people.

6’5 guy just walks up to me in the parking lot with cataracts and crusty eyes and starts rambling why he needs money so I give him a ten then he asks for two more dollars and I just sigh and give it to him. I wish I could just feel safe in my community and could just smile and greet everyone I see but it feels like I can’t do that.
