Trash food scraps mostly. When i give dogs scraps i make sure it's only meat, and only a little bit.

Dachshunds are a fairly expensive breed (at least in our country, probably, although any purebred animal is always expensive), and as far as I know, like any small dog, they are very picky about food. usually small dogs are given a diet and all that, no?

In reality a dog's diet should consist purely of dogfeed, which can vary in quality and type depending on the breed and size of the dog. Basically if you're giving your dog any extras like scraps or treats, you should make sure to account that into how much dog feed you give them per day.

I am very upset that most of my family treated dogs like some kind of object, giving them bones or boiled scraps of something.

They can be given bones as long as they're not fragile. Hard bones are good for them since they naturally bite into them to sharpen their teeth

yeah but as i know its not good idea give them bird's bones, because they are hollow,small and when they eat it, they breaking the bone into sharp pieces that can cut their organs

but yeah its good idea give them bones with some meat on it
like,my aunt,when she cooked big part of cow as i remember (boiled it for some stew or something) always gave big hollow bones with some meat, bone marrow in it.
all our dogs are small chiwawwas,so bones are like, 1/5 of their height,with VERY fat layer of bone itself,so its really good for them.

That's basically what i mean. Cattle bones are fine.
