This site is alot more more active and yet it feels like it's deader than ever.

True. I believe the reason behind this is due to some of the most active threads as of late being either generals for other sites or dramaposting. To add, a fair few worthwhile discussion threads are long buried under the respective board page lists, overtook by the aforementioned most active. I don't want to screech about it being newfriends's fault for all being SLF 'ru braps, but honestly that's the source of the issue at hand. It's not all bad though, there's still a fair chunk of discussion being had outside of those threads so there's that.

I never really thought about how life is continuous until you die. Well, of course you sleep through some of it and that breaks it into "pieces", but now I know why pulling an all-nighter feels so disorienting.

It's a shame that we are one of the only walking beings on this earth to abandon their inherent want to sleep on an unrestricted time-schedule. We weren't made to sleep on a schedule, we were made to nap intermittently whenever dammit.

Anytime I pull an all-nighter, it's almost like 12am-7am just never happened. Or I guess it's more like it all happened in the past 30 minutes?
