modern minecraft is mid and the fandom is terrible

Not only is the game way uglier, the servers are rulecucked, half of the things added since the buyout make the game lamer, and you can just cheese the game by robbing a village now, but it's also made by actual real women who replaced c418's music with dubstep.
Also the fans are all pretentious redditors. Gone are the caca gemeralds of the Notch era, now it's all "le heckin blursed data packs" and real womanslop SMPs. Most minecraft fans haven't moved past 2020, and they still post really boring outdated vids on youtube shorts. Civilization vids are gemmy albeit. Also they're unable to comprehend that people can prefer old minecraft, whenever you say anything negative they start screaming "NOSTALGIA BLIND NOSTALGIA BLIND NOSTALGIA BLIND" like a goanimate character, and then they start saying that the old versions were never actually fun and everyone before 2019 was just being nostalgia blind nostalgia blind nostalgia blind for what was the present. Even on here they do this, perhaps because I lashed out at them first (aryan behavior)

There's been a small community of people making civ events that aren't scripted based on the Joyful video. Its actually so fun. Its literally the only thing I've played modern minecraft for in a long time

cave update terrain looks cool but you have to terraform whenever you build and when you enter a cave you need way more torches. 1.13 with beta terrain, beta sounds and beta lighting, the old combat system and no phantoms is ideal

old minecraft caves are fucking dogshit they're like 5 blocks wide at max
even the big ones are like 20 blocks wide and the epic terrain is definitely better

this is only true after the 1.7 update. beta caves were huge and called "wormhole caves" because they would literally go on and on, i personally saw this in my old mango world and there's literally a challenge called the 404 challenge where you live your life in a massive cave in the beta seed "404" because it's fucking huge.
