I never learned how to study because I was able to bruteforce my way through school just fine without much effort, but now that I'm in college it doesn't work that way anymore. Opened up some PowerPoint for my economics class and I've just been staring at it for like 15 minutes. I have no idea what normal people do.

I would just rewrite my notes over and over. You have to understand and process what you're reading in order to paraphrase it, rather than just scanning the words and having them leave your mind immediately.
Also flash cards, but that's more for just memorizing shit to get through a test
