Beyond past actions on the Shlog (which frankly, pail to some of the things others have done on here) I genuinely cannot see why many hold such hate towards him. Everything negative he has done, another has also done, if not to worse effect. He isn't even that baitable nor abrasive of a character? Is the sole reason behind it all just quick laughs?
