This is an impressive demo for outdated hardware (for the time) but no amiga was ever sold with 2MB of chip RAM, you need to do an aftermarket mod.Shit nobody cares about except me.

Amiga is soyboy af but this is still cool to see, complements the C64 port someone did of the 8-bit version of Sonic 1 a while backShit nobody cares about except me.
Tbh the options music goes hard until the dummyed clown partRespect Sonic Eraser, its not even as bad as the sonic spinball options music.
Margepill?Sonic Eclipse
The rumored next mainline Sonic game, it's essentially going to be more Frontierslop with more playable characters and also Ian Flynn's cacaot OCs Tangle and Whisper are now unfortunately canonized into the game and there's no way you can escape it (like how in the Japanese script a lot of the gay references in Frontiers were scrubbed out)Margepill?
Seeguh hire this man NOW
I've been following this guy's chronicles into making the special stages playable. It's been very satisfying seeing it go from unplayable dogshit to decently optimized in just a couple of weeks.View attachment 84093

Really, really impressive considering the specifications of the Dreamcast. This port has been in development for a little under a year and a half now if I'm not mistaken.
I can see why some people become diehard classicpurists, there's a new tempest in a teapot over anything and everything post Sega Saturn every other day at this point. Tiresome. The sad part is that this guy does have somewhat of a point, but he comes off as such a smug cacaot that all he’s done is raise my cortisol levels like crazy. Doesn’t help that he’s also part of some shit fan game made in Dreams so there’s also some conflict of interest going on.
The ARK stage does lose some art direction (see the space pillars which are supposed to be attached to the ARK, you can see this intent in concept art and the level map for SA2), but this argument is never made by him. Instead he compares a shot where the Earth is clearly not visible to one where it is, and then seethes whenever someone calls him out for what’s clearly an awful comparison. And I’d argue the Earth glowing like a radioactive blue fireball isn’t necessarily better either.
Rail Canyon looks better. It would be hard to make it NOT look better. I’m not exactly what the fuck this guy is on with “muh contrast”, Heroes itself is badly put together Renderware ‘slop and the level is just a bunch of rails floating on a crappy skybox with a bunch of canyons. The Shadow Generations version just does that but better.
I prefer the way 06’s Kingdom Valley looks, but this has little to do with artistic integrity (of which I’d say Shadow Generations is very faithful) and more to do with me not liking the way HE2 does lighting, has that ugly haze to it that I think is a symptom of doing everything in real time. And once again these two shots aren’t even the same because of the fog, and if anything the addition of the fog is an improvement as it increases the scale and grandeur of the level
The rest of the stages IDC about because they are HE2 ‘slop and shouldn’t be in the game to begin with
TL;DR leaked over xittercaca instead of just deleting the app and being /calm/ award
