25 years old? Are you kidding me? That's the exact age they say your brain finishes development. Ffs, even little children know the difference between right and wrong. When you bust them for something, they'll always pretend not to know what they did wrong, and when you catch them in the act, they'll look directly at you with that wide-eyed stare, knowing they got caught. I don't understand why people who are mentally disabled, broadly speaking, are categorised as autistic by internet onlookers who know nothing about the person they're talking about and aren't real psychologists with credentials. A person being limited in some aspects doesn't mean they're necessarily repetitive or act redundantly, as would a person with autism.
And because the overdiagnosis of the condition is prolific in this current landscape, I believe it's going to get to a point where people who happen to be a little slow in some areas will inevitably be diagnosed with the disorder.

It's also odd to me because a lot of these people seem to romanticise the disorder and wish they had it themselves. I remember a few years ago a similar thing happened where there was a noticeable increase of "depression" and "anxiety", and those people were flaunting those labels like medals of honour.
Come to find out this was largely because Fifty Shades of Grey, the show, was airing at the same time as the trend had unfolded.
I'm assuming the increase of autism is due to social stagnation brought upon by the effects of the pandemic.

American leftism is about sticking up for the underdog, progressive virtues (slacktivism & signalling), rest in power (instead of rest in peace), and the correct morality, AKA "we're on the right side of herstory and you're not."
It's more appealing because they're being sold on an ideological product, but also because they're ultimately conformist. Anything to the right of centre-left is met with nothing but hostility. It's agreeable because it's "open-minded" when the people perpetuating are not because they're not willing to argue for the virtues they stand for; they just expect them to be accepted, no questions asked. This is where the entitlement comes from.

yeah thats true, its funny because their definition of "open-minded" is just accept mentally illnesses and fetishes disguised as some sort of morality. eventually both sides have that feel of entitlement. one's just worse because they cant even argue, when right-wing people atleast have some things to say instead of just screaming "inhumane" into my ear. either way centrism won because it pisses off everyone.
