I can get into the server from lo and from the public ip, but when connecting from the public ip I connect through

epicbrap[/192.168.4.1:35223] logged in

which is the wireguard tunnel, so im waiting for my friend to try and connect
then i can install some mods!

edit: My friend could join and it works well for Euros

i setup a paper server, then moved to fabric, and i might move it to a different game version to get all the mods i want
i think i'll host a website so people can download all the mods in one zip file
the server will have a custom resource pack, i think minecraft supports server resource packs now without manual client-side installation

you can pick a skin, and your hitbox size and view height reflects the skin
i 'updated' a resource pack to 1.21.1 so that it works as a server resource pack and auto downloads
i recommend picking a skin from GitHub - MineLittlePony/Community-Skin-Pack: Ponify your world with player and mob skins for Mine Little Pony (https://github.com/MineLittlePony/Community-Skin-Pack/tree/master) by using the search box, and if you want to edit it use this Skin Editor (http://ponyskincraft.com/skin.php?action=edit) (this website also hosts a bunch of skins you can use)
you set your skin from minecraft's main menu, the button in the bottom right
