i hated beta 1.8 world gen changes since it came out, and although the nu nu generation is better than b1.8, i still think pre 1.8 beta had the best terrain
so im going to look into terrain generation mods
there is one that replicates old beta, but its only for 1.19...

I can't get cardboard to work, which would let me use spigot/paper plugins on this fabric server, such as coreprotect
i can't switch because a more important server-side mod is fabric only and not a paper plugin
I'll look into alternative anti-griefing addons

Okay, I found a replacement for coreprotect that is also capable of rollbacks.
Now I'll make a simple website which will list server information and rules, explain a bit about the mods, and have a download link for the modpack
im not sure ill bother with https because 1) its pozzed anyway and 2) running apache behind a reverse proxy tunnel probably makes the certificates act gay? idk
