Why is this website so fucking slow and doesn't allow the use of regular attachments?

This forum lowkirkenuinely works like shit, the website had long loading times when i tried to switch themes and it lags a little bit sometimes. Not only that, but i can't even insert images from my disk. It's genuinely horrible having to upload or search for images on a separate website instead of just uploading it directly.

You need a few posts to unlock certain features of the site. This is to prevent pedonoobs from just joining and spamming antimatter or some shit.
