i dont think the ui is necessarily bad, its a bit modernized compared to the old 'ru. theres a lot more user friendly features like being able to search categories without having to add a specifier (variant:___). theres just a lot of oddities in its current state, and with it being dropped like this so suddenly, its very jarring and off-putting.

This is just like when they made the McDonald’s grey or whatever
