What i mean is that it's been so long (a whole decade) that every person who was originally invested in the development of the game from /v/ or youtube have moved on. And at this point the only real audience it has are fat brown pooners from the third world.

If anyone wanted to make easy money they could just take the whole Yandere Sim idea but instead of doing this Persona-Hitman fusion or whatever the fuck YandereDev claims the game is supposed to be , just make it a clone of Bully. Have each rival/clique be like a clique. Maybe add a more elaborate melee system and add a morality system that allows you to get multiple endings/modify the story as you go. Perhaps to unlock missions and continue the story you have to do some social engineering + talk to NPCs or whatever. Come to think of it it seems pretty easy to make a fully realized version of this game. All you have to do is not be a dummy

He probably actively chose not to finish the game since he got a ton of free money for making it and that income would disappear if the game ever got finished and he stopped posting updates.

I don’t think this is really the case, from what I’ve seen of the YanSim clones that have come and gone they mostly went under due to a lack of motivation, skill, and/or the devs being spergs who’re more interested in getting into SNCA ‘cord drama.
