Look at Aleister Crowley's writings—he was obsessed with numbers, and some decoded versions of his Thelemic texts reference "the 67th path" as a hidden gateway to the abyss, where you commune with entities that aren't exactly angelic. Then there's the Church of satan stuff: Anton LaVey died in '97, but if you invert the 9 as satan inverts the word of God, it becomes 67
Even in the Bible, Psalm 67 is all about God rising up and scattering enemies, but flip it satanically and it's mocking divine power—67 as the number where the adversary claims "I rise and scatter His followers." And obviously 6+7=13, which is the number of witches in a coven and ties straight into blood rituals and Friday the 13th.
It's not as loud as 666, which is why it's perfect for them. Hidden in plain sight on license plates, building addresses, stock prices... quiet little markers for those in the know. Once you start looking, it's like the devil's subtle fingerprint.
