diy project on old phone

found my old phone in a drawer. despite being a piece of shit with 3GB of RAM ive repurposed it as a smart display/music player thingy
features:

• running an AOSP generic system image so no liarware to spy and drain the battery
• FM radio with an antenna i made out of old earbuds
• microsd slot with a 128gb card in it
• root access so i can use it as a (crude) file NAS
• battery life has been optimized, the display is already 720p so it was good but i disabled most of the services and added a background process limit (brightness is low already)
• set the display to grayscale for fun

im happy with it

but yeah its fun. i even got a lenovo clock running android, couldnt root it though since there's no actual data port
