The system built around wealth is designed by the wealthy to keep themselves high up. It's like trying to scale up a castle wall whist guards constantly pour down buckets of slippery metaphorical liters of visible taxes, invisible taxes like inflation, and the law. Not to mention the millions of people also trying to scale up all around you at the same time, kicking and flailing at one another like beasts just for the chance of getting an inch higher in their lifetime regardless of the cost. I'm not mad at all, just fed up watching it all from ground zero, with myself prepped to be thrust into it come December when I turn eighteen.

Fuck the stupid noobs 80+ years ago who made it so that I have to pay $200 and wait months to get a piece of shit sawed-off double barrel shotgun. Like, if I wanted to go into a Bass Pro and buy a .308 AR, that would be perfectly legal, no questions asked. But God forbid I want a practically useless (because scatterguns with short barrels have abysmal accuracy, and recoil control is difficult) meme weapon just for the fun of it.

Apparently the reasoning is something along the lines of "uuuh you could conceal it in a coat and then kill peoplez!!!"... what the fuck? But a 10mm Glock 29 with a 10+1 capacity is fine? Absolute liarry.

Sorry if this sounds like a glowpost, I am not a danger to myself/others.

To be honest my knowledge is a bit rusty, but things like the Mossberg Shockwave aren't NFA items at all, actually. They just barely meet the barrel length & OAL requirements.
If it actually is an NFA item I would assume the process would be easier than buying a normal one & getting approved to do the job yourself.
