Technically if you allow for an omnipotent God who is above physics then the universe could have been made in a week on his whim. Hell, it could have been made last second and we would have been none the wiser. So if you start with a God who can pull of miracles and has whims/plans that we cannot know for some reason then. To me, this logic seems somewhat absurd, but I mean it tracks from the inside and can't be proven wrong. I find this quite funny.

i guess, but as i see it if God cant change the world at his whim now then he couldnt then probably. he can probably create planets, new animals, and things and for us these things seem to happen slowly, but for him its fast.

Obviously no human can control it and there's no way to know for sure, but to fulfill all of the prophecies said to have to be done before the end times would surely bring about the end times quicker, no? At least setting it up for later.

i think i'd rather see an increase in lutheranism instead of catholicism personally but this is fine better than baptist
