Greetings. As the title suggests I believe that creating such a section which would foster more unity and a way for new users to become acclimated to the soysphere if unaware or perhaps a way to give a little introductory speech, you could also force them to post in the introduction section before they are allowed to do so anywhere else or you may think that the entire feature in itself is redundant and useless which is also a fair opinion but I think it makes it more convenient and gives a way to easily make some friends and discuss about your interests and whatever have you.

I was procuring this forum some days ago and liked it so I decided to join, I have already used many forums in the past and am familiar on a sidenote I was banned on the sharty for my first ever post which apparently is a common thing? same thing used to happen to me on 4chan, I believe I may be cursed or it's the IP or whatever but falsebans are such that I am no stranger to, thoughts?

except that they have shown those freedoms they want to obtain, before european contact and with the various european powers in north american, and even in some parts of central and south american colonial times initially treating them as truly sovereign entities, with their own government, land and such in article I, section 8, clause 3 of the united states constitution, the indian commerce clause.
I meant that more as in DESERVING to get, not showcasing the freedoms they want
and despite being absorbed into the united states, and the independent nations of the americas, the indigenous have fought, and are still fighting for full autonomy and land rights.
Indians in the US have opportunities that maybe natives in their southern neighbour countries have to struggle more for to obtain due to the non-native's population not-improved condition relatively to them. There is no real beneficial reason to claim land as their own other than stubborn ethnic pride and resentment against WASPs, and there already are indian reserves
Their southern neighbors are not better, when they're out of their communities they become pests of society, as they're not accustomed to living in an advanced environment and fall into the bottom barrel places of it like slums
it fits the definition of progress. it's a socialist government, which inherently seems to replace conservative policies for more progressive ones.
The definition of progress is one, the Cambridge Dictionary defines it as "movement to an improved or more developed state, or to a forward position", giving rights to homosexuals is not a sign of progress
a government which utilizes 'mud over your wound' treatments on its citizens, and said citizens fare better than your own
Rates aren't relevant when we're talking about the quality of their services
the education in zapatista territories has practically no funding from, and is not formally recognized by the mexican government.
Doesn't say much

I don't like indians, whatever historical golden age they could have had is long gone at the end and from what I can deem now they're not better than their tawny companions

221 replies and 2,000 views and only 9 of you even decided to vote upward. Fuck.
>Implying 221 people gave an introduction out of the supposed 2k members that I didn't know we had, and that all of those people kept to the original topic of the thread and never derailed it

true, they do not have any sort of autonomy (minus the zapatistas) like their northern counterparts

with no full autonomy.

a limitation established by the supreme court in Oliphant v. Suquamish Indian Tribe (1978).

wouldn't that be an argument for full autonomy of their own regions? to separate themselves from the mestizo populace?

anyway, i do not care for homosexuals, but it is a forward position to give rights to them

except that it is. it highlights the incompetence of the mexican federal government
Doesn't say much
if you say so
I don't like indians, whatever historical golden age they could have had is long gone at the end and from what I can deem now they're not better than their tawny companions
should be restored
