I don't think they have the mental capacity to run an entire nation. I also don't think they would be able to see eye to eye; too many of them would be butting heads to work efficiently. Unless a couple of them are highly knowledgeable in fiscal policy, setting the rules of law (and abiding by them), and can keep the machine going with its various departments. I think their government would implode in a matter of weeks. I think too many of them would fixate on the aesthetics of government rather than the real meat of it. The plus side, though, is that they are very partial to structure, so I don't think it would implode due to incompetence.. at least not entirely. I instead think it would be a battle of the egos, and too many spergs have one too many meltdowns.

...And then I think a superior civilisation would come along and enslave them and take over their land.
