i was binge-playing resident evil games back in spring. completed re2, re3, re4 (remakes) and re8 in a span of a month. also played re7 for a bit but didn't like it and dropped it

I loved RE7 when it came out, but I don't think I ever beat it. After 5 and (((6))) it was a nice return to "zombies are an obstacle between puzzles" vs "this game is about shooting zombies and then spending 2 minutes on a puzzle"

tbh this shit was so predictable and repetitive. at some point you just get used to puzzle and shooter segments swapping so much, you can literally predict what will happen next

Unlocked the knight doors, found the book of evil, but it's late and I didn't bother wasting an ink ribbon, so I'lldo it again tomorrow. Gotta check the other room with blue herbs, then finish the "balancing good and evil" puzzle. Hella grenade launcher rounds, but I'llprobablybe too afraid of using them and end the game with 30 of them again

I am a dummyed mindless cattle and I instantly mixed some blue herbs I found with green. Not realizing I desperately need normal healing herbs and that blue herbs cure poison just as well on their own. Might load another save

Iykyk, but I just killed the three monkeys in my way, dodged two spiders, killed two of those bug noobs, got tons of ammo, the pistol upgrade, and made it to safety while barely taking any damage. Heil Claus.

Edit: FUCK, I wasted my green herbs BEFORE the whole "save Rebecca sequence and I have to do it all over again fuck my life
