If by "debunked" you mean overblown lies and generalizations, then sure. From his writings those who leaned harder into "Gnostic" views on Christian theology were all baby eaters and suicide cultists thusly making anything they do wrong, as opposed to orthodoxy. On the topic of orthodoxy, one of his larger arguments against "Gnostic" sects are that because they are based in secret knowledge and multiple divine beings, making it automatically wrong as it goes against the basis of God in orthodoxy. Duh, you may be thinking. Of-course something is wrong when its measured with its opposite. Look, long and short I don't have much stakes in this topic so I'll leave this ramble here. I do wonder however how Christian faith would look today if not for falseflags and lies against those wanting to dig-deeper into the God of the Jews. Maybe it'd be more like esoteric Judaism and all that nonsense, who knows.
